As our OTHM accredited qualifications are approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and Qualifications Wales, learners are also eligible to progress to a top-up degree, master’s programme, or MBA at many universities in UK and overseas with advanced standing.

What is the Entry Requirement?
OTHM Level 3 qualifications can be offered to learners from age 16. OTHM does not specify entry requirements for these qualifications. The learners admitted to the programme should have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment criteria.
The qualification is offered in English.

What are the Course Modules?
The Level 3 Certificate in Business Studies qualification consists of 2 mandatory and 3 optional units for a combined total of 30 credits:
Mandatory units:
- Introduction to Research and Academic Skills (10 credits)
- Introduction to the Business Environment (10 credits)
Optional units: Choose any one
- Introduction to Customer Service (10 credits)
- Using IT for Business (10 credits)
- Introduction to Marketing (10 credits

If for any reason you are not able to attend the live sessions, you will have the option to go through the Recordings at a later date as per your convenience.
What is Level 3 qualification Equivalent to?
OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 3 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels.
Is the Course Accredited?
The programme is accredited by OTHM, UK – an Awarding body by the UK Government’s regulator – OfQual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation)
How is the Assessment done?

University Progression
Successful completion of the Level 3 Certificate in Business Studies qualification enables learners’ direct entry into Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree or pursue Level 4 Diplomas.
