The purpose of this Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management (Accredited by Ofqual, UK) is to equip learners with the information, understanding, and abilities necessary for a managerial-level profession or further study in the health and social care industry.

This Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management enables learners to demonstrate their competence through the production of evidence from their work or training activities.  You will study level 4 and level 5 units, each worth 120 credits, for a total of 240 credits (equivalent to the first 2 years of an honours degree).

The Level 4 units provide an introduction to contemporary Health and Social Care issues and serve as a basis for learning.  The units include theoretical and practical knowledge in the profession and are designed to develop and improve knowledge and skills in the areas of equity, diversity, professional development, patient evaluation, resource management, health and safety, risk assessment, and communication.
The Level 5 units provide students the option to advance in subject-specific occupational fields. The participants will grow and improve their knowledge and abilities in the areas of successful partnership working, managing the care of vulnerable individuals, safeguarding, health education, team management, professional supervision techniques, and research project completion.

This Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management certification will equip learners with industry-specific and practical skills, allowing them to successfully use their knowledge in the workplace, improve their job chances, and allow them to continue their education.
